This page explains how you can request deletion of your personal data and account associated with the iBlue Portal app.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your data, send an email to info@ibluetax.com from the email address associated with your account, with:
- the subject line “Delete My Data”;
- your full name; and
- the email address used for your iBlue Portal account.
We will verify your identity and process the request. If you have questions, you can also reach us at info@ibluetax.com.
What data is deleted
Upon a verified request, we delete the personal data associated with your account, including your profile information (name, email, phone number, address), your login credentials, uploaded documents and files, and other personal data we hold about you that we are not legally required to retain.
What data is kept, and for how long
As a tax preparation firm, iBlue is legally and professionally required to retain certain tax records and filing documentation for a minimum period — generally up to seven (7) years — under applicable IRS, state, and professional recordkeeping rules. These records are stored securely (encrypted) during that retention period and are deleted afterward. We retain them only to the extent required by law.
Timeline
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when completed.
